Our flight was at 4:00 pm. out of Catania Airport. The stress of air travel is getting to me….getting to the airport 3 hours early so we can drop off the rental car, drag our luggage to the airline, check-in the luggage (which always brings on a fight between Claudio and I because inevitably his luggage is light but mine is over the limit! So open the luggage, transfer my stuff into his luggage, close everything and drop off the luggage. All of this for a 1 hour flight!

Once we landed in Rome, as the sun was setting, a magical thing happened over our heads that had nothing to do with airplanes!

This concludes our sail-and-drive trip through Sicily. We will be staying in Rome until November 25th. If I have interesting things to report, I will add posts. If I bore you with my blog, just unsubscribe….I won’t be hurt! 🙂
