Happy Birthday Alessio!

We left Cuttyhunk early this morning and headed to Block Island.

While filming this short clip, I actually thought that I was seeing sheep grazing on the hilltop….until my husband pointed out that they were rocks! What do I know about sheep, rocks and grazing!? My husband got a good laugh out of it.

The sail to Block Island from Cuttyhunk was a little rolly. This was probably caused by the tropical storm off the coast of North Carolina that was churning up our local waters. It was fairly windy as well.

Once we pulled into Block Island, we got a chance to see how other he & she couples handle one of the many maneuvers that are necessary if you’re going sailing….snagging the mooring line and stopping the boat.

Dinner on shore….who’s that pretty girl in the harbor? Why it’s the Floriana, silly!
