Not much to say about today….or should I say not much to see! This is the Bay Bridge leaving Annapolis.

Non c’è molto da dire su oggi… o forse dovrei dire che c’ra poco da vedere! Questo è il Bay Bridge che uscendo Annapolis.

After several hours and 54 miles of navigation, we stopped at Chesapeake City for the night. It’s called Chesapeake CITY but it’s more like a small waterfront town. Its harbor is small as well with only room for 3 or 4 larger sailboats at anchor. The entire harbor is very shallow and strong currents at its entrance make it a nail biter every time! But I won’t let that discourage me from having my 5 o’clock Queen’s gin-n-tonic. Cheers!

Dopo diverse ore e 54 miglia di navigazione, ci siamo fermati a Chesapeake City per la notte. Si chiama Chesapeake CITY ma è più simile a un piccolo paesino sul lungomare. Anche il suo porto è piccolo e può ospitare solo 3 o 4 barche a vela all’ancora. L’ingresso al porto di Chesapeake City è soggetto a continui insabbiamenti e addizionato alle forti correnti rendono l’ingresso piutosto inquietante! Ma non lascerò che questo mi scoraggi dall’avere il mio Regale gin-n-tonic delle 17,00. Prosit!
