This morning, the boat still smelled of shrimp. Because of the mosquito situation, we didn’t dare leave anything open overnight. I’ll have to air out the boat underway.
Questa mattina la barca profumava ancora di gamberi. A causa delle zanzare, non abbiamo osato lasciare nulla aperto durante la notte. Dovrò arieggiare la barca in navigazione.
We left the shrimp docks with a menacing cloud overhead….actually, it looked like it was following us!
Abbiamo lasciato il molo stamattina con una nuvola minacciosa sopra la testa… in realtà, sembrava che ci stesse seguendo! Tipo la nuvola di Fracchia!
We were wind slapped all day today! Again, steady 30 knots gusting to 40….by the end of this day, we felt like we were beaten, battered and bruised. Thank God we have enough shrimp to keep us happy!
Siamo stati schiaffeggiati dal vento tutto il giorno oggi! Costanti 30 nodi con raffiche fino a 40 nodi… alla fine di questa giornata, ci siamo dovuti leccare le ferite dalle condizioni meteo avverse. Grazie a Dio abbiamo abbastanza gamberetti per fare una bella cenetta!
