Sunday morning we left Southport and we left the Nor’easter behind us… I hope!

Domenica mattina abbiamo lasciato Southport e ci siamo lasciati alle spalle la tempesta… spero!

We pass Cape Fear Inlet (that name is very unsettling!) and we notice that these platforms are all over the place, even inside the main channel, I guess to dock large tankers and ships in bad weather or until they can be tugged into port.

Superiamo Cape Fear Inlet (Passo della Paura!) e notiamo che queste piattaforme sono dappertutto, anche all’interno del canale principale, immagino per attraccare grandi petroliere e navi in caso di maltempo o fino a quando non possono essere rimorchiate in porto .

Nasty weather is still following us.

Il brutto tempo ci sta ancora seguendo.
