The three of us left St. Augustine Inlet today and sailed into the ocean…me, Claudio and Wolfie naturally!

Noi tre abbiamo transitato il St. Augustine Pass oggi ee transitare nell’oceano…io, Claudio e Wolfie…naturalmente!

Upon entering the St. Mary’s Inlet, we picked up a favorable current that allowed us to transit the inlet at 8.5 knots. It felt like we were in a race car!!

We picked up a mooring ball at Fernandina Beach Municipal Marina mooring field, Last fall, this mooring field was super crowded. Now it was just us and three other boats!

Abbiamo preso una palla da ormeggio davanti al porto turistico municipale di Fernandina Beach, lo scorso autunno, questi ormeggi erano tutti occupati e il marina era super affollato. Ora eravamo solo noi e altre tre barche!

We headed straight to town for a bite to eat and a leisurely stroll down Main Street. Fernandina Beach is a quaint and lovely town. Their ice cream is good too!

Siamo scesi nel paesino per cenare e poi fare una piacevole passeggiata lungo Main Street. Fernandina Beach è una cittadina pittoresca e incantevole. Buono anche il loro gelato!
