Today I’m exceptionally excited…. tomorrow we arrive at Lake Worth after 55 days of travel down the eastern coast of the United States!

We navigated through the Fort Pierce area and the St. Lucie inlet.

We passed lovely mangroves and lovely homes.

We finally anchored at Peck Lake. The lake was a small anchorage area but filled with young families enjoying the Thanksgiving weekend on their boats. It was crowded until the sun started setting, then it was quite peaceful

On this trip, we learned to rely on the cruising guides daily especially when looking for the anchorages. We also learned to take them seriously when they cautioned us about an anchorage being buggy!

And this is only about 1/4 of all the bug bites i have on my body!
