Today we traveled over 40 miles on our way to Beaufort. Late in the afternoon, we anchored in South Edisto River. I don’t know if it was because the weather was perfect today, after a week of violent winds and rain…or maybe it was just a need to express myself in the best way I know how…through music. I wanted to create this video. It is Pavarotti singing the Italian classic “O’ Sole Mio” while the sun goes down over the river. Indulge me for today……I hope you enjoy it. For Dad.

Oggi abbiamo viaggiato per oltre 40 miglia verso Beaufort. Nel tardo pomeriggio, abbiamo ancorato nel fiume Edisto. Non so se è stato perché il tempo era perfetto oggi, dopo una settimana di venti violenti e pioggia… o forse era solo un bisogno di esprimermi nel modo migliore che conosco, cioe’ attraverso la musica. Volevo creare questo video. È Pavarotti che canta il classico italiano “O’ Sole Mio” mentre il sole tramonta sul fiume. Permettetemi questo momento solo per oggi…… Spero che vi piaccia.
